In less than two weeks the new single, The Assumption, releases. Mark your calendars for October 12th. I’m grateful to share this song with the world. If we’re all honest I think we could say we’re guilty of making assumptions at some point. This song is about the danger of doing so and the potential disaster in relationships. Here’s a little teaser for now.
I’m proud of Woodstock, Ga. They’ve launched a new project called the “Dean Store Sessions” and I got to be the first musician featured. There’s a lot of talent in this little town I call home and I’m excited to see where this goes. Check it out.
I’m excited to be the featured artist for Woodstock Roots Music Night in Downtown Woodstock. We will be playing full band on August 16th at 7pm on the Elm Street stage.
We have some really cool shows coming up. Next week we are off to Ellaville for Strange Farms Festival. It’s going to be a great time with some awesome musicians. The great Mark Wills will be headlining. On June 8th we have a full band show in our hometown of Woodstock. It’s a FREE belated EP release party and our friends The Barger Sisters will be joining us. I can’t wait to get back to Red Clay Music Foundry in Duluth on June 2oth where I’ll be part of the Wednesday Writer Series hosted by Chuck McDowell of Esoebo. Just a few days after on June 22nd we will be joining the fine folks of Sixth String Southern Productions at AthFest in Athens this year at The Foundry. We’re excited that we get to be a part. In August we’re back in Woodstock for the Woodstock Roots Music night. Keep posted for more announcements. See you at a show!
